| The MasterIT Technologies Apprenticeship Program is a technical and professional program that includes training in information technology, software tools, entry-level engineering, problem solving, business skills, and professional communications. Program components include mentoring, team building, projects, presentations, competitions, job shadowing, and rotational work assignments in a variety of organizations. |

| MISSION |
The mission of the MasterIT Apprenticeship Program is to provide high school and college students from IT and engineering learning tracks with a variety of opportunities within the Information Technology sector. The MasterIT Apprenticeship Program provides opportunities for students to perform technical career-track work and earn money, while learning from experienced professionals that will prepare them for Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, and Business careers.
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship program, apprentices may receive certification as IT Technicians and are eligible for full-time employment at Mosaic Technologies and become eligible for Mosaic college tuition assistance. |

| JOB TRAINING |
| Participants learn and apply new skills under close supervision in a structured business environment. Exposure to corporate culture is gradual and training ensures that apprentices will be well prepared and will have attained the confidence to work in diverse business & technology settings. Participants are surrounded by opportunities to develop technical, professional, and interpersonal skills. Ethics, teamwork, problem solving, time management, and responsibility are integrated into all training activities. |

| CAREER EXPLORATION |
Apprentices have direct interaction with a diverse workforce in a real-world, professional environment. Entry-level training, career panels, and job shadowing allow students to explore job and career possibilities. Support throughout the program is provided by workplace mentors, early-career technical professionals, managers, coaches, and school advisors, with whom the apprentices frequently meet. |

| PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS |
To be eligible for this program, students must have the following credentials:
- High grades, strong learning capabilities, technical curiosity
- Superb attendance and excellent behavior; no suspensions and no criminal record
- High motivation with a strong interest in IT, math, engineering, and science
- Responsible, ethical approach to tasks
- Ability to work well in teams
- Test scores of at least 80% in both reading and mathematics on current standardized measurements
- Enrollment in IT or Engineering educational tracks with recommendations from teachers (students in other academic tracks are not eligible; i.e., automotive, carpentry, etc.)
- Willingness to withdraw from or limit certain extracurricular activities to ensure success in academic and program goals
- Completed working papers; must be 16 years of age to participate in Program work training assignments in the junior year
- U.S. Citizenship; must be able to obtain security clearances.
